As the title of this post says, I think I’ll be putting Muddlecreek on a temporary hiatus. With many other strips on a summer break, I will probably be doing the same. I’ll keep everyone posted… so please put Muddlecreek on your “subscribe” bookmarks and check back in.

This was inspired by some articles I read about the Texas Board of Education voting
on what content to include in their textbooks. Big surprise, the conservatives in charge
wanted to pimp their philosophy to school kids. They want to have Jefferson Davis’
inauguration address next to Lincoln’s.  There’s a good article about it here.

Hi everybody! I’m back! Is there anybody here? Sorry it’s been so long… but as I said previously, I needed to recharge the batteries. As it is, I’m about three weeks ahead, so even if I get some serious creative block over the next few weeks, you’ll have something to read here. Muddlecreek now will be a once a week strip updating on Wednesdays.

What have I been doing? I’ve been gearing up to get back into freelance illustration again. I have a new portfolio site, for anybody that would care to check it out – www.addison-art.com. I’m also going to do a sketchblog that I will try to update frequently, so be sure to stop in and check it out.

Also, you may notice the inclusion of swear words… I decided that since my readers are probably adults, and that they can handle an F bomb here and there. Muddlecreek is definitely not for kids… no strip that has Bunny Wiggins in the cast can be anything less then PG-13… maybe an R for language. Thanks for stopping by… I hope you’ll keep reading.

I’m Back! I’m thinking that since Muddlecreek is once a week now (Wednesdays), I could do
each one like a Sunday strip… so you get just as much Muddlecreek as before, just once a week.
I think doing it once a week for a little while will let me concentrate more on the art.
