Whalebone: Paper Cups

whalebone-paper-cups

It’s another Whalebone Wednesday!
I like this one… I was thinking of Harvey Kurtzman when I inked it. I also wanted to do something a little different with the color this time.

These modern times, I'm sure they'll work just fine. Do they have texting features as well?

  2. John K Says:

The string companies will not be happy about this in such a tough economy.

  3. JerryBenedict Says:

I think they'd have to add that service… Dixie Cup Mobile and would charge them more…

  4. JerryBenedict Says:

True… I could see whole string manufacturing towns getting hit hard by this.

It works! Really! Try it! First, though, you gotta sniff lots of paint/glue. Lol…

I think these guys would only be using Elmer's Glue and Poster Paint (or crayons!)… maybe we could chalk one up for insanity… or at least a fractured reality!

All I can hear in mine is the ocean.

You beat me to that joke. I couldn't figure out a way to make it work, but you nailed it! I also love the way you draw your characters.

Thanks George… I'm flattered that we would be on a similar wavelength… maybe I'm doing something right after all! he he..

The Whalebone stuff gives me a chance to mess with the drawing a little more… i think that Muddlecreek's characters have sort of settled in. Another thing about Whalebone, is that I can fit jokes w/ kids… something that doesn't really fit w/ Muddlecreek.

he he… all I can hear are the voices that aren't already in my head!
